PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs)
M.Tech. (VLSI System Design)
- The graduates should be successful with higher knowledge in competing technologies related to the specialization of VLSI System Design.
- The graduates should be able to solve the problems at industry level and real time applications
- The graduates should have professional ethics, human Values, better communication and soft skills
Program Outcomes (POs)
PO1: An ability to independently carry out research/investigation and development work to solve practical problems.
PO2: An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/documentation
PO3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area as per the specialization of the program. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program
PO4: Postgraduates will be able to conceptualize, model, design, and verify complex VLSI systems using advanced hardware description languages, EDA tools, and industry-standard verification methodologies.
PO5: Postgraduates will be able to analyze and optimize semiconductor devices, fabrication processes, and technology scaling challenges to design energy-efficient, high-performance integrated circuits.
PO6: Postgraduates will be able to apply research methodologies, modern CAD tools, and multidisciplinary approaches to develop innovative VLSI solutions in domains such as ASIC, SoC, FPGA, and low-power systems, addressing industrial and societal challenges.
